BOULDERS ROLL CHAMPIONS IN TWINBILL OPENER

The Boulders scored in four of their six offensive innings to support a dominant pitching outing from RHP Justin Topa (pictured) and take a 10-0 win over Ottawa in the opener of Monday’s doubleheader. Topa worked five shutout innings, allowing just two hits and no walks, and striking out four. RHP Thomas Lawrence kept the Champions off the board in the final two frames, not allowing a hit in the process. Offensively, 3B Cody Regis, the Can-Am League’s Pointstreak Player of the Week, had another big game, going 3-for-3 with a solo home run in the third.
