BOULDERS RALLY PAST CHAMPIONS IN GAME ONE

The Rockland Boulders scored three runs in the top of the eighth inning to overcome a 5-3 deficit and beat Ottawa, 6-5 in game one of the Can-Am League Championship Series. Rockland had 10 hits in the contest and was led by DH Marcus Nidiffer (pictured) who went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs, three runs scored and four RBI. Boulders SS Junior Arrojo and 3B Mike Fransoso combined for four hits and three runs while LF Devin Harris collected a RBI in a 1-for-4 night. Game two of the championship series is tomorrow night at RCGT Park in Ottawa.
