Rockland and New Jersey split a doubleheader Wednesday. In game one, the Jackals jumped out in front 3-0 through three innings of play and would cruise from there to a 7-1 win over the Boulders. Jackals 1B Art Charles (pictured) went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI. In game two, Rockland scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally past New Jersey, 8-7. The Jackals had a 7-3 lead through four innings of play only to see Rockland score two in the fifth and the three in the seventh to win the game. In other action, Sussex County beat Quebec, 3-2 and Ottawa defeated Trois-Rivieres, 8-4.
