The Boulders outlasted the Dominican Republic on Friday night, as a seven-run first propelled them to victory. The win came on the heels of a loss against the Miners, putting the Boulders at 20-8 for the season. The big play of the first inning came on a two-run double from LF Jon Smith to extend the lead to 6-1. Smith later scored in the inning on a sacrifice fly, as he also finished the game with four RBIs.The Champions also beat the Cuban National Team 3-0. The games between Trois Rivieres at Sussex County and New Jersey at Quebec were postponed.
