MAY 31 LEAGUE RECAP Photo Credit: Rockland Boulders Rockland 2, Quebec 1 – Box Score Left fielder Kevin Krause (pictured) singled home C Aaron Wilson with the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning as Rockland defeated Quebec, 2-1. The Boulders jumped out in front 1-0 in the top of the third as 3B Cody Regis scored on an RBI single by 1B Conrad Gregor. The Capitales responded with a run in the bottom of the frame as 2B Yordan Manduley singled home LF Edgar Lebron from third base. The score remained tied at 1-1 until the seventh when Wilson scored on the Krause hit to give Rockland the 2-1 advantage. Quebec would never score again after that as the Boulders notched their fifth win of the season. Regis went 2-for-3 with a run scored while leadoff hitter JC Rodriguez added a pair of hits in four at-bats. Rockland pitcher Marc Huberman tossed 3 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to earn his second victory of the season. Huberman gave up four hits and struck out a batter.
