BOULDERS DEFEAT MINERS FOR SEVENTH STRAIGHT VICTORY

Rockland 1B Mikael Mogues and C Alex Herceg (pictured) hit back-to-back home runs as part of a three-run eighth inning as the Boulders defeated Sussex County by the score of 8-5. The win by Rockland was their 50th of the season and seventh in a row. Boulders SS Mike Fransoso and CF Jared McDonald each had two hits on the night with Fransoso scoring two runs and McDonald driving in a pair. In other league action, Quebec beat Trois-Rivieres, 9-3 and New Jersey defeated Ottawa, 14-5.
