BOULDERS CLINCH SPOT IN CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES WITH WIN OVER JACKALS

The Rockland Boulders advance to the Can-Am League Championship Series as they defeated the New Jersey Jackals in game four by the score of 9-1. After New Jersey jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, Rockland scored four runs in the fourth and two more in the fifth to take a 6-1 advantage and would never look back en route to the series clinching victory. Third baseman Cody Regis (pictured) led the way going 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and a RBI.The Boulders will now take on the Quebec Capitales in the best-of-five championship series. Game one will begin on Tuesday night in Rockland starting at 7:00 PM.
