AUGUST 3 LEAGUE RECAP Rockland 8, Trois-Rivieres 3 – Box Score Rockland scored six runs over their final three trips to the plate as they downed Trois-Rivieres by the score of 8-3. The Boulders pounded out 16 hits in the contest with five batters having multi-hit games. Rockland LF Conrad Gregor (pictured) went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs while 3B Cody Regis contributed four hits in five at-bats and drove in three runs. Catcher Kevin Krause and 2B Jared McDonald each chipped in three hits for the Boulders. Rockland starter Brian Ernst allowed an earned run over six innings of work to pick-up the victory. Ernst gave up three walks and three hits while striking out nine. The righty is now 2-1 on the year. For the Aigles in the loss, RF Michael Suchy went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Ottawa 7, Sussex County 1 – Box Score The Ottawa Champions scored all seven of their runs in the first four innings of the contest and rolled to a 7-1 win over Sussex County.
