After losing the first two games of the series, the Champions battled back, and beat the Capitales on Saturday, thanks to an outstanding pitching performance from RHP Steve Borkowski (pictured). Borkowski limited the Capitales to six hits, while striking out nine in the shutout victory. The starter picked up his second win of the season, as RHP Victor Beriguete earned the save.In other news, the Cuban National Team defeated the Aigles 7-6, the Boulders beat the Jackals 5-2, and the Miners defeated Dominican Republic 13-4.
