The official statistician of the Can-Am League, Pointstreak, has announced that Ottawa Champions RHP Phillippe Aumont (pictured) has been named this week’s Pointstreak Pitcher of the Week for the week ending July 2. Aumont tossed the first no-hitter in Champions history on Wednesday night, blanking the Dominican Republic in a 7-0 Ottawa victory. Over his nine innings, Aumont allowed just one walk and struck out 11 Dominican hitters.
