June 30 Recap Photo Courtesy: Rockland Boulders Rockland 3, Sussex County 2 – Box Score Rockland SS Marcos Almonte, (pictured) in his first game with the team, belted a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Boulders a 3-2 walk-off victory over Sussex County. After four scoreless innings to start off the contest, Sussex County struck first in the fifth as C Gavin Stupienski launched a two-run blast to make it 2-0 Miners. Rockland cut the deficit to 2-1 in the seventh when CF Chase Harris hit a two-out solo home run. The score would remain the same until the ninth when Almonte hit the game winning shot to give the Boulders the dramatic win. Harris went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI while Almonte had two hits and a pair of RBIs. Rockland pitcher Robbie Gordon tossed an inning of scoreless…
