The Can-Am League All-Stars edged the American Association All-Stars 3-2 on Tuesday night at RCGT Field in Ottawa in a celebration of both leagues’ top players. The Can-Am League took the lead in the bottom of the first inning when New Jersey RF Johnny Bladel doubled in the lead-off spot and scored when New Jersey 2B Brian Burgamy singled in the next at-bat. The American Association leveled the score in the top of the fourth inning when St. Paul LF Anthony Gallas doubled and then scored when Wichita DH Matt Chavez bounced out to short. But the All-Stars from the Can-Am League scored two decisive runs in the bottom of the frame when Quebec SS Yordan Manduley and Ottawa C Danny Grauer produced back-to-back RBI singles. The American Association All-Stars scored again in the top of the eighth when Sioux City CF Jayce Ray drew a walk and then scored when Winnipeg RF Josh Romanski singled but that was the final run of the game.
