ALBERS HAS SOLID 2016 DEBUT FOR MINNESOTA

After spending most of the season in Triple-A, LHP Andrew Albers (Quebec ’10) was called up by the Minnesota Twins in advance of the club’s doubleheader against Houston on Thursday. Making his first appearance in the majors this season, North Battleford, Saskatchewan, native pitched six solid innings of relief in the second game of the twinbill, giving up three earned runs while fanning five and walking just one.
