Two veteran pitchers, both graduates of the Can-Am League who have tasted working at the sport’s highest level and would like more long-lasting trials in the major leagues, will have an opportunity in the new year to see if a fresh environment will help.Lefty Andrew Albers (pictured) has signed with the Atlanta Braves and was assigned to Triple-A Gwinnett. Righthander Wilmer Font will get his next chance in the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system and has been assigned to Double-A Tulsa.
