JULY 24 EVENING LEAGUE RECAP Photo Courtesy: Trois-Rivieres Aigles Trois-Rivieres 8, New Jersey 7 – Box Score Trois-Rivieres collected their fifth win in a row as they edged past New Jersey by the score of 8-7. After falling behind 4-0 through a half inning of play, the Aigles roared back with six consecutive runs to take a 6-4 advantage and would never look back from there. The Aigles collected 11 hits as a team with four batters having multi-hit games. Trois-Rivieres RF Michael Suchy (pictured) went 2-for-4 with a first inning grand slam while 3B Taylor Brennan had a hit in three at-bats and scored twice. First baseman Kevin Cornelius, C Alex Herceg and SS Sam Dexter each chipped in two hits apiece for the Aigles. Trois-Rivieres starter Yender Caramo threw six innings and picked-up his third win of the year. Caramo gave up five earned runs on eight hits and struck out three. For New Jersey in the losing effort, 3B Daniel Canela went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI.
