August 2 Recap Trois-Rivieres 3, Sussex County 2 (Game 1 – 7 Innings) – Box Score In game one of a doubleheader, 1B Juan Kelly’s single in the third inning gave Trois-Rivieres a 3-1 lead and that proved to be enough for the Aigles as they defeated Sussex County, 3-2. Trois-Rivieres jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a ground rule double by 3B Taylor Brennan (pictured) and a sacrifice fly by Kelly. The Miners answered with a run of their own in the second as C Gavin Stupienski picked-up a base hit and scored 3B Nate Coronado from second base. The Aigles then responded with the big hit of the game in the third as Kelly singled home LF Alberth Martinez to make it a 3-1 score.
