The Capitales struck first with a solo home run from SS Yurisbel Gracial in the second but a sac fly from 2B Ryan Brockett leveled the score in the third. The Capitales pulled back in front in the top of the fourth when DH Jordan Lennerton scored on a single from RF Marcus Knecht but LF Connor Crane’s sac fly in the bottom of the frame tied up the game again. In the bottom of the eighth, Crane singled home RF Javier Herrera (pictured), who reached on a one-out single, for the game winning run. Herrera led all batters in the game with three hits.Elsewhere, Ottawa toppled Rockland 8-2.
