The Trois-Rivieres Aigles and the Ottawa Champions split a doubleheader tonight. In game one, Ottawa tallied all four of their runs in the third inning and held off a late Trois-Rivieres rally to win, 4-3. Champions 2B Steve Nyisztor and DH Sebastien Boucher (pictured) each had two-hit games with a run scored. In game two, Center fielder Brenden Webb singled home 2B Carter McEachern with the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as the Aigles beat Ottawa, 2-1. Trois-Rivieres starting pitcher Edilson Alvarez tossed a complete game and earned his fifth victory.Elsewhere, Quebec beat New Jersey, 3-1 and Rockland defeated Sussex County, 9-3.
