Tim Adleman has been one of the Can-Am League’s nice success stories in recent years, leading the Reds in both innings pitched (122.1) and strikeouts (108) in 2017.Perhaps the fact Adleman turned 30 last month played a role, but he has accepted a $100,000 signing bonus and nearly doubled his Cincinnati salary with a contract that will pay $1,050,000 for him to pitch for Korea’s Samsung Lions next season.
