A trio of Capitales pitchers combined on a three-hit shutout in a 3-0 home victory over Ottawa. LHP Mac Acker (pictured) threw the first six innings, allowing all three hits but striking out two, earning the win. LHP Luis Pardo worked two shutout frames with a strikeout, and RHP Jon Fitzsimmons tossed a 1-2-3 ninth for the save.Elsewhere, Sussex County topped New Jersey 5-1.
