August 13 Evening Recap Sioux Falls 7, St. Paul 0 – Box Sioux Falls starting pitcher Grady Wood continued his terrific 2017 season as he tossed a complete game shutout in a 7-0 victory over St. Paul. Wood gave up only six hits and struck out six batters in the 116-pitch effort (78 for strikes). The 27-year-old righty won his second consecutive start and improved his record to 7-2 on the year. Offensively for the Canaries, RF Burt Reynolds led the way going 2-for-4 with a ninth inning grand slam and six RBI. Sioux Falls DH Jabari Henry also added a home run in a 2-for-5 night while leadoff hitter Dan Motl drew a pair of walks and scored twice. Cleburne 6, Texas 3 – Box With the score deadlocked at 2-2 through five innings of play, the Cleburne Railroaders would take over the game, scoring four runs over the next three frames and defeating Texas by the score of 6-3.
