Photo via Winnipeg Goldeyes MOORHEAD, MINN. – The Winnipeg Goldeyes have sold the contract of INF Kevin Lachance to the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, the American Association announced Saturday, June 1. Lachance is the 24th American Association player to have his contract purchased by a Major League organization in 2019, and the 44th since the start of the 2018 season. Lachance signed with the Goldeyes over the offseason after spending 2018 with the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League where he it .267 with two home runs and 18 RBIs. The versatile right handed batter was off to a blistering start with Winnipeg in 2019 that included a .400/.542/.629 slash line with one home run and six RBIs in 11 games.
