Wichita 7, Cleburne 1 – Box The Wingnuts won their 30th game of the season on Saturday, improving their red-hot record to 30-12. They scored five runs in the first four innings, with the big play coming on a two-run single from DH Brent Clevlen, putting the Wingnuts up 5-1. The two RBIs put him to 36 on the season. The Wingnuts scored two more runs in the eighth inning, as they went on to win 7-1. RHP Alex Boshers won his sixth game of the year, going seven innings, allowing a run on six hits and striking out five. Fargo-Moorhead 4, Lincoln 2 – Box The Redhawks scored three runs in the first two innings, which proved to be the difference on Saturday, as they defeated the Saltdogs 4-2. Two RBI singles from DH Vaughn Bryan and LF Chris Grayson put the Redhawks ahead 3-0 after a wild pitch scored Grayson for a 1-0 lead in the opening frame. The Saltdogs climbed back, scoring two runs in the third inning, but failed to get any closer as the Redhawks added another run in the fourth en route to their 22nd win of the year.
