Wichita 1, Kansas City 0 — Box Score The Kansas City T-Bones out-hit the Wichita Wingnuts 9-6 in Friday night’s matchup but the Winguts kept the T-Bones off the board and collected a 1-0 win. The game’s only run came in the top of the second inning as 3B Tony Thomas belted a solo home run, his fourth of the season. Thomas was one of five Wingnuts to have a hit in the game. LF Logan Trowbridge was the only Wingnut to have more than one hit as he went 2-for-4. For the T-Bones, 2B Dylan Tice and RF Todd Cunningham each went 2-for-4 while five other T-Bones each added one hit. Starting pitcher Corbin Osburn was tabbed as the winner for his six innings on the mound where he gave up six hits and struck out one batter. Reliever Daniel Tillman threw the ninth and earned the save. Gary SouthShore 6, Fargo-Moorhead 4 — Box Score The Gary SouthShore RailCats turned five hits into six runs and held off the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 6-4.
