In the home half of the frame, 1B Brett Vertigan (3-for-4) hit a lead-off infield single but was retired as 3B Logan Trowbridge hit into a fielder’s choice. In the next at-bat, LF Adam Brett Walker II (2-for-5) hit his league-leading 29th home run to end the game. C Christian Correa added a 4-for-4 performance with three RBIs. For the Goldeyes, CF Tyler Hill went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and LF Logan Hill went 2-for-5.
