T-BONES WIN TO TIE RAILCATS FOR WILD CARD LEAD

Kansas City 8, Gary SouthShore 0 – Box Kansas City starting pitcher Luis Paula and three relievers combined for a four-hit shutout as the T-Bones defeated Gary SouthShore, 8-0. Paula went the first six innings of the contest in which he allowed a walk and two hits to go with six strikeouts in an 85-pitch outing. The bullpen trio of Rich Mascheri, Grant Sides and Jackson Lowery each tossed an inning of relief and gave up a combined two hits. Paula notched the win and is now 6-2 on the season. Offensively for Kansas City, RF Dexter Kjerstad went 3-for-5 with two runs scored while 1B Kevin Keyes scored twice and added a pair of hits in a 2-for-3 night. With the victory, Kansas City is now tied with the RailCats for the wild card lead. Winnipeg 5, Sioux Falls 2 – Box The Winnipeg Goldeyes plated three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to break a 2-2 tie and defeat Sioux Falls by the score of 5-2.
