Kansas City 5, Sioux City 4 — Box Score The Kansas City T-Bones scored three runs in the top of the eighth inning to help secure a 5-4 win against the Sioux City Explorers. The T-Bones were trailing 4-2 heading into the eighth inning when both 1B Kevin Keyes and LF Kyle Petty drew walks to put the tying run on base. RF Chantz Mack doubled which allowed Keyes to score and then an error on the play allowed both Petty and Mack to touch home and take the lead. Mack went 2-for-4 in the game to lead the team. C Zane Chavez added a solo home run for the T-Bones in the top of fourth. For the Explorers, RF Michael Lang and 3B Eudor Garcia each had a pair of hits Cleburne 2, Wichita 1 — Box Score The Cleburne Railroaders slid past the Wichita Wingnuts 2-1 in a pitcher’s duel on Tuesday night. Starting pitcher Patrick Mincey (9-8) picked up the win for working eight innings and allowing one run on five hits and striking out six batters.
