T-Bones Claim High-Scoring Affair

CLEBURNE, Texas (June 11, 2019) – The Cleburne Railroaders rallied from a 5-0 deficit to take a 6-5 lead, but saw it slip away as the Kansas City T-Bones seized the series opener by the score of 10-8 on Tuesday night at The Depot. It was all Kansas City (10-13) in the early going, as the T-Bones got a three-run home run from Ramsey Romano in the top of the third to seize a 3-0 advantage. The lead swelled to 5-0 in the fourth, as Roy Morales grounded a two-run double down the third base line. Cleburne (12-12) scrapped back into the game with a six-run bottom of the fourth. John Nester got the scoring started with an opposite field, two-run home run that cut the Kansas City lead to 5-2.
