Kansas City 6, Sioux City 4 – Box The Kansas City T-Bones scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 4-4 tie and beat Sioux City by the score of 6-4. Kansas City tallied four runs in the first to take a 4-0 lead but could not hold it as the Explorers tallied single runs in the second and sixth innings to cut the deficit in half and then tied it in the top of the seventh on a two-run home run by SS Nate Samson. T-Bones DH Kevin Keyes went 1-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI while LF Tyler Horan and 1B Kyle Petty each had a pair of hits and scored a run. Kansas City pitcher Zach Morgenstern notched the victory in relief and is now 1-0 on the season. For Sioux City in the losing cause, 2B Joe Bennie had a 2-for-4 night with a home run, two runs scored and a RBI. Fargo-Moorhead 6, St. Paul 1 – Box The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three innings of play and would go on from there to a 6-1 victory over St. Paul.…
