Wichita 13, Sioux City 0 – Game 3 (Wichita leads series, 2-1) – Box With the game scoreless through four innings, Wichita plated seven big runs in the fifth to jump ahead 7-0 and would roll from there to a 13-0 win over Sioux City. Wingnuts C Martin Medina went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBI while 1B Matt Chavez hit a home run, scored twice and drove in three runs. Wichita starting pitcher Jesse Pratt threw six solid innings in earning his first postseason win. Pratt gave up only a walk and four hits while striking out a batter. The bullpen trio of Mike Devine, Luis Pardo and Chase Johnson each tossed a scoreless inning of relief with Johnson giving up a hit and fanning one. Game four of the first-round series is tomorrow night at 7:00 PM with the Wingnuts looking for a victory to advance to the championship series.
