CLEBURNE, Texas (June 1, 2019) – Jesus Sanchez fired six scoreless innings and a trio of relievers handled the final three as the Cleburne Railroaders shut out the St. Paul Saints 2-0 on Saturday night at The Depot at Cleburne Station. After two rough starts, Sanchez (2-2) returned to his Opening Night form with a dominant outing. The right-hander allowed only two hits without walking a batter, throwing 79 pitches to pick up his second win of the season. He only registered one strikeout on the evening, but retired seven of the last eight to come to the plate against him. St. Paul (9-6) did not get a runner to third base the entire evening. The Railroaders (9-7) quickly eliminated the possibility of a second consecutive no-hitter in the first inning, as Zach Nehrir cranked a one-out solo home run over the fence in left for a 1-0 lead.
