Lincoln 6, Kansas City 5 — Box Score The Lincoln Saltdogs walked off on the Kansas City T-Bones 6-5 with two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning after a single from RF Randolph Oduber. The Saltdogs entered the bottom of the ninth trailing 5-4 but loaded up the bases with a single, a hit batter and an error from Kansas City. Oduber came to the plate with one out and singled home LF Brandon Jacobs to tie the game and PR Ivan Marin, who was running for 3B Tommy Mendonca, scored on the play as well after an error. Kansas City had built their lead early with a grand slam from DH Kyle Petty in the first and an RBI single from CF Omar Garcia in the second. But the Saltdogs responded in third when 1B Trever Adams led off with a home run and DH Curt Smith and Mendonca left the yard in back-to-back at bats. Starting pitcher Derek Gordon (2-2) went the distance for Lincoln and allowed five runs on six hits while striking out nine batters.
