Lincoln 7, Cleburne 0 — Box Score Thanks to a complete-game shutout from starting pitcher Brian McAfee (3-1) the Lincoln Saltdogs blanked the Cleburne Railroaders 7-0. McAfee allowed just six hits in nine innings of work, did not issue a walk and struck out three batters. He needed 109 pitches to finish off the Railroaders and 78 of those went for strikes. Offensively, the Saltdogs backed him up with a run in the third, five in the fifth and another in the eighth. In the big fifth inning, DH Curt Smith doubled home a run, 1B Nathaniel Maggio singled home another and C Dashenko Ricardo hit a three-run home run. 3B Christian Ibarra, who went 2-for-5 on the day, scored in the third inning when LF Brandon Jacobs singled and he hit a solo home run in the eighth. Jacobs had three hits on the day and Ricardo had four. For the Railroaders, DH Pichi Balet went 2-for-4.
