St. Paul 4, Fargo-Moorhead 3 – Box Score The St. Paul Saints edged past the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 4-3 on Tuesday night at CHS Field. 3B Drew Ward (2-for-4) gave the RedHawks the early lead with a solo home run in the top of the first inning. In the fifth, CF Alex Boxwell and LF Brennan Metzger (2-for-4) led off the frame with back-to-back solo shots to take a 3-0 lead but the Saints responded in the home half. 2B Drew Stankiewicz singled home both 3B Chesny Young and SS Nate Samson (2-for-4) and, later in the inning, pinch runner Mike Devine scored when OF Max Murphy (2-for-4) hit an infield single. In the eighth, 1B John Silviano hit a lead-off home run for what proved to be the game-winning run. The Saints sit in third place in the standings, 1.5 games clear of the Goldeyes in fourth.
