St. Paul 10, Winnipeg 2 – Box Score St. Paul scored early and often in this contest as they tallied nine runs over the first four innings and rolled to a 10-2 win over Winnipeg. With the victory, the Saints stayed a half-game back of Fargo-Moorhead in the North Division race. The Saints pounded out 17 hits in the contest with seven batters picking-up multi-hit games. St. Paul leadoff hitter Max Murphy led the way going 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBIs. Murphy now has 16 homers on the season, which is tops in the American Association. Along with Murphy, CF Dan Motl scored two runs and drove in one in a 2-for-4 night while 1B John Silviano and SS Matt Morales each added three hits and a run.
