JUNE 25 RECAPS St. Paul 12, Winnipeg 11 (10 innings)- Box The Saints rallied from multiple deficits before walking off on Winnipeg by a 12-11 final at CHS Field. Down by a run going in to the bottom of the 10th, 1B Angelo Songco hit a one-out single, and went to second on a walk. LF Willie Argo added another single, and an error allowed Songco to score and tie the game. Following a walk and a fielder’s choice, Aaron Gretz came up and reached on a dropped third strike. On the play, Argo came home to score the winning run. Earlier in the game, Songco had hit his eighth home run of the season, a solo shot in the third, and RF Breland Almadova connected on a two-run homer later in the inning, his third homer of the season. Both Almadova and Songco finished with three hits for the Saints. LHP Caleb Thielbar recorded the last out for the win in relief. DH Ridge Hoopi-Haslam was 2-for-5 with four RBI, two of which came on a two-run home run in the third, for Winnipeg.
