St. Paul 3, Texas 1 – Box Score The St. Paul Saints pulled away from the Texas AirHogs late to take a 3-1 win on Friday night. The AirHogs found the scoreboard first in the top of the third inning as LF Correlle Prime singled to center field to allow CF Dillon Thomas (2-for-4) to score. The Saints tied the score in the bottom of the frame as LF Burt Reynolds singled to push CF Kyle Barrett across the plate. The Saints broke the 1-1 tie in the eighth inning as Reynolds scored on an error and, later in the inning, 2B Zach Walters scored after C Justin O’Conner was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. The AirHogs outhit the Saints on the night 7-4, and both Thomas and RF Stewart Ijames had two hits. Fargo-Moorhead 4, Winnipeg 0 – Box Score The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks blanked the Winnipeg Goldeyes thanks to the effort of starting pitcher Brandon Barker. Barker nearly tossed a complete game as he went 8.2 innings and allowed just four hits and one walk while striking out four batters.
