St. Paul 5, Wichita 0- Box Score The St. Paul Saints (34-28) allowed just four hits in a 5-0 shutout of the Wichita Wingnuts on Wednesday. Saints’ starter Eddie Medina (5-3) allowed just three hits while walking two batters and striking out eight in 6.1 innings of work. The bullpen took over and held the Wingnuts scoreless while allowing just two base runners (one hit and one walk). The Saints scored on an error in the bottom of the first and third innings to take a 2-0 lead. Dante Bichette Jr. (3-for-4) clubbed a solo home run (4) to take a 3-0 lead. Kyle Barrett (1-for-4) hit a solo home run of his own in the fifth and Burt Reynolds (1-for-4) hit one in the eighth (14) to bring the game to its final score. Winnipeg 8, Texas 2- Box Score The Winnipeg Goldeyes cruised to an 8-2 victory over the Texas AirHogs on Wednesday. Tyler Baker hit a two-run home run (1) in the bottom of the first. Three batters later, Reggie Abercrombie hit a three-run homer (9) and two batters after that Tucker Nathans hit a solo home run (7) to give the Goldeyes a 6-0 lead…
