St. Paul 2, Gary SouthShore 1 (12 Innings) — Box Score Thanks to an RBI single from RF Breland Almadova, the St. Paul Saints outlasted the Gary SouthShore RailCats 2-1 in 12 innings. The game was tied at 1-1 after nine innings thanks to a third-inning RBI single from LF Reggie Wilson and an unearned run by 1B Mitch Delfino in the top of the fifth. In the 12th, CF Kes Carter hit a lead-off single, moved to second when Delfino bounced out, took third as C Tanner Lubach singled and then scored the game when running as Almadova singled to second. In the bottom half of the inning, reliever Brandon Peterson (3-2) sat the RailCats down in order to pick up the win. For the game, Lubach went 3-for-5 to lead the team and for the RailCats, RF Colin Willis had a team-high two hits. Wichita 3, Lincoln 2 — Box Score Behind a strong showing from the Wichita pitching staff, the Wingnuts picked up a 3-2 win against the Lincoln Saltdogs.
