St. Paul 10, Cleburne 3- Box Score The St. Paul Saints (28-23) slugged their way to a 10-3 win over the Cleburne Railroaders (17-32) on Wednesday afternoon. The Saints hit their first of five doubles in the bottom of the second when Max Murphy cleared the bases with a two-bagger to give St. Paul a 3-1 lead. Murphy scored after the Railroaders walked three consecutive batters and would finish the game going 4-for-6 with four RBIs and two runs scored. The lead grew to 7-1 in the bottom of the fifth when Dante Bichette Jr. hit an RBI single, Anthony Phillips hit an RBI double and Kyle Barrett hit an RBI single. Both teams scored two in the seventh and St. Paul scored one in the eighth to bring the game to its final score. Saints’ starter, Eddie Medina (4-2), gave up just one earned run in five innings of work to secure the win, striking out a season-high eight batters in the process.
