St. Paul 7, Winnipeg 3 – Box Score The St. Paul Saints never trailed on the way to a 7-3 win against the Winnipeg Goldeyes on Sunday afternoon at CHS Field. The Saints took the lead in the top of the first as DH Chuck Taylor (2-for-4) singled home CF Mikey Reynolds and added to that lead in the second when 1B John Silviano hit a two-run homer. In the third, Taylor hit a lead-off homer to give the Saints a 4-0 lead. In the fifth, C Chris Chinea (2-for-4) hit a three-run shot to put the Saints in front 7-0. The Goldeyes found the scoreboard in the seventh when C John Nester (2-for-4) singled to plate 1B Kyle Martin (2-for-4) and, later in the frame, LF Jordan George scored when RF Jonathan Moroney singled.
