St. Paul 2, Wichita 1 — Box Score The St. Paul Saints edged the Wichita Wingnuts 2-1 thanks to a complete-game effort from starting pitcher Dustin Crenshaw. Crenshaw (2-1) needed just 91 pitches (62 for strikes) to finished off nine innings of work. He allowed just one run – a DH Zac Fisher RBI single in the second inning – on five hits and struck out four batters. The Saints provided all the run support necessary in the fourth inning when 1B Dan Johnson hit a two-run home run. The Saints had just four hits in the game, one each from four different batters including doubles from CF Kes Carter and C Tanner Lubach. For the Wingnuts, five different batters each had one hit including doubles from C Martin Medina and RF Richard Prigatano. Texas 6, Salina 5 – 10 Innings — Box Score The Texas AirHogs erased a 5-3 deficit in the bottom of the ninth inning and then walked off on the Salina Stockade 6-5 in the 10th with a bases-loaded hit by pitch.
