St. Paul 4, Sioux City 0 – Box Score St. Paul starting pitcher Ryan Zimmerman and three relievers combined on a two-hit shutout as the Saints defeated Sioux City, 4-0. Zimmerman went the first five innings allowing three walks and a hit while striking out four. The bullpen trio of Karch Kowalczyk, Chris Lee and Tanner Kiest threw the final four innings and combined gave up a walk and a hit with six strikeouts. Zimmerman notched the victory and is now 5-3 on the season. Offensively for St. Paul, 3B Chesny Young led the way at the plate going 3-for-3 with a double, a run scored and three RBIs. Saints 2B Josh Allen scored two runs in a 1-for-4 night while C Jeremy Martinez singled and scored a run. For the Explorers in defeat, LF Sebastian Zawada went 2-for-3.
