SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Aug. 19, 2019) – The Cleburne Railroaders scored eight runs in the first three innings and five more in the top of the ninth as they hung on for a 14-8 win over the Sioux Falls Canaries on Monday night at Sioux Falls Stadium. For the second straight night, the Cleburne offense got to work early against the Sioux Falls starter. Mark Seyler (3-8) allowed multiple runs in each of the first three innings, as Cleburne (52-35) seized the early initiative. Chase Simpson got it started with a three-run blast in the first inning, giving him three homers through the first two games of the series. The Canaries (34-52) answered back with a pair of two-out runs in the bottom of the inning, as Clint Coulter and Mike Hart notched RBI singles to make it 3-2.
