RICARDO’S GRAND SLAM LEADS SALTDOGS OVER RAILROADERS

Lincoln 8, Cleburne 4 – Box The Saltdogs beat the Railroaders for the second day in a row on Sunday, as they won 8-4. Both clubs started the game hot, as they each scored four runs in the first inning. However, it was the sixth inning that allowed the Saltdogs to break the game open, as they scored four more runs in the inning as they went on to win. C Dashenko Ricardo hit the lone home run of the game and finished 1-4 with a run scored and four RBIs. DH Tommy Mendonca was stellar in the win, picking up two hits, knocking in two runs and scoring twice. DH Mitch Glasser picked up two hits in the loss, also scoring once. RHP Carlos Pimentel picked up his second victory of 2017, going seven innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and striking out three batters.
