Fargo-Moorhead 13, Texas 1- Box Score The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks cruised to a 13-1 victory over the Texas AirHogs on Thursday. Texas scored their only run off of RedHawks starter, Will Solomon (4-4) who pitched all nine innings, in the top of the first when Dillon Thomas hit a sacrifice fly. Fargo-Moorhead by beginning their offensive onslaught with a three-run eight batter inning in the bottom of the first. The RedHawks would go on to score two in the second, two in the third, three in the sixth, two in the seventh and one in the eighth. Brennan Metzger and Charlie Valerio both homered for Fargo-Moorhead. Metzger went 2-for-2 with one home run (4), three runs scored, and two RBIs. Valerio went 3-for-5 with a home run (9), two runs scored, and three RBIs. With the win, the RedHawks improved to 20-17 overall, while the AirHogs fell to 8-28.
