LF Devan Ahart drove in the first run for the RedHawks in the top of the first with an RBI double. In the next at-bat, DH Chris Jacobs drove in RF Tim Colwell with a groundout to make it 2-0. Later in the inning, 3B Leobaldo Pina hit a two-run double to make it 4-0. The Goldeyes cut the lead to two on a two-run double by 1B Kyle Martin in the bottom of the second. Fargo-Moorhead added two insurance runs on a two-run double by 2B T.J. Bennett in the top of the eighth.
