Cleburne 2, Kansas City 1 – 14 Innings — Box Score The Cleburne Railroaders outlasted the Kansas City T-Bones 2-1 in 14 innings thanks to an RBI single from 3B Mitch Glasser in the bottom of the 14th. Cleburne scored in the bottom of the first inning when Glasser, who was 3-for-6, touched home plate after a single by DH Pichi Balet but wouldn’t score again until the walk-off hit. The Railroaders allowed just two hits in the marathon affair but allowed the T-Bones to tie the game in the top of the ninth when 3B Marcus Lemon reached on an error and then scored when RF Kyle Petty bounced into a fielder’s choice. Reliever Cortland Cox (3-2) picked up the win on the night for working the last five innings and giving up just one hit, no walks, and recording 10 strikeouts. In the 14th, C Blake Grant-Parks belted out a ground-rule double in the lead-off spot, moved to third as SS Alex Polston grounded out and scored to end the game on Glasser’s single.
