RAILROADERS FINISH DOUBLEHEADER SWEEP OF GOLDEYES

Cleburne 5, Winnipeg 2 (F/7 Game Two of Doubleheader)- Box Score The Cleburne Railroaders finished off a doubleheader sweep of the Winnipeg Goldeyes Sunday night, winning 5-2 after winning 8-0 earlier in the day. DH Kenny Meimerstorf picked up an RBI single to give the Railroaders a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Cleburne made it a 3-0 game with a two-run third that included an RBI double by 2B Chase Simpson and a sac-fly by 1B Jonathan Rodriguez. The Goldeyes cut the deficit to one in the bottom of the fourth, scoring one on a 3B Dominic Ficociello RBI single, but that would be the last run they would score. Rodriguez hit his second home run of the day in the top of the seventh. Rodriguez entered the doubleheader with no home runs on the season. SP Michael Gunn allowed two runs in five innings of work…
