Railroaders Drop Series Opener in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (June 11, 2021) – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks scored 15 unanswered runs and defeated the Cleburne Railroaders 15-1 on Friday night at Newman Outdoor Field. The Railroaders (11-11) scored the game’s first run in the top of the first on an RBI single from Ramon Hernandez, his league-leading 30th RBI of the season. Unfortunately for Cleburne, that base hit would prove to be the last positive moment of the game, as Fargo-Moorhead (14-9) answered with a three-run home run from Correlle Prime in the bottom of the inning for a 3-1 lead that the RedHawks would not relinquish.Kevin Krause singled home another run in the second, then Prime cranked a solo shot leading off the third for a 5-1 RedHawks advantage. Fargo-Moorhead put the game away with four more runs in the fourth inning on a pair of two-run homers from Leobaldo Pina and Jordan George for a 9-1…
